They're still having 'issues'. The '79 show just skipped from 40 to 35... Yeah, before that they were at #39, He's the Greatest Dancer by Sister Sledge, then when I came back a few minutes later, it was at the Top 3 recap with #2, Hot Stuff by Donna Summer!

I know we were both listening to the first run earlier. It's not on my copy for some reason. I have the recorder set not to compensate for skips and drop outs. There are no gaps or skips in the show in there. I was sleepy too, but it was definitely there because they went into #12, Deeper Than the Night by Olivia Newton-John right after Larry Morgan said something like, one week away from hitting the countdown, that was Bad Girls by Donna Summer, a Classic American Top 40 Extra from 1979! Just checked the recording i made earlier from the IHeart station and after Grand Funk, the hour ends and it goes into the next hour. I did hear KCLH play yesterday though after the break before hour 4

Either the playout system has seriously screwed up or they have loaded multiple versions in, so sometimes you get the one thats ok and other times you get the screwed up one.

Well, it was there last night, even remember hearing its trademark whistle sounds and Donna singing "bad girl sad girl you're such a dirty bad girl", then the Larry Morgan outro, though tired, I was not that far gone. It's all good. We might be getting slightly different feeds from more than one source, if that's possible. So far, the show content can be inconsistent at times. So far the only legal IDs I've heard (the ones the FCC requires at or near the top of every hour) are of the Austin HD2 station.

Do you actually read posts by others before you post and ask questions? it has been referenced several times what show the iheartradio channel is playing for this week. And I would not expect B shows to be a part of the channel. The are B shows, an alternate if the station chooses they don't wish to air the offering.

What's with KPEZ HD2 Austin? I had to loop that and slow it down to actually get the letters. I looked into it and it is some kind of rap station. 102.3 the beat

Does anyone think a notation about the shows being on iheartradio should be added to the stations list in 70s and 80s station threads?

^that show was a mess, but I did get "Bad Girls" this time at
20: MINUTE BY MINUTE - DOOBIE BROTHERS LDD: CAN'T SMILE WITHOUT YOU - BARRY MANILOW Hour #2: "Bad Girls" by Donna Summer
The version I heard a few hours ago was complete and it was very similar to the one I heard the other day. It had all 4 extras. "one way or another" was in there twice this time, after #30 and #3. "Bad Girls" was in this one after the #13/Archive "Loco-Motion".

Sounds like they have built several versions of each year then, so sometimes you get the one that is all good (apart from one way or another twice) & other times it plays a different one that's a mess & skips songs & then next time the one that's all good again or even another version that has bad girls in. No idea why you would do it like that though...seems extra work when playout systems will just churn thru the cuts to the end and then go back to the beginning again in auto mode. One correct full version of each would do the job.
