I usually look through threads like this to make sure I am not repeating a previous post but don't think it is necessary with this one. Lucas with "Lucas With the Lid Off" which I heard on the 12/3/94 AT40.

Poison - Talk Dirty To Me - 1987 - Hey CC pick up that guitar and talk to me - referring to guitarist CC Deville. Similar to this, in Def Leppard's 1988-89 hit "Armageddon It", singer Joe Elliott leads into a guitar solo with "C'mon Steve, get it!", addressed at then-guitarist Steve Clark (who died two years later.)

Also in Wings "Junior's Farm" Paul says "take me down, Jimmy" before Jimmy McCulloch's guitar solo.
John Phillips also mentions several of the studio players backing him up on "Mississippi" from 1970 (guitarist James Burton and bassist Joe Osborn).

In either "Taxi" or "Sequel," Harry Chapin mentions himself. Actually, both, as of the characters Sue calls Harry by name (first name only) in both songs.

Diana Ross mentions two of her fellow singers in 'Back In My Arms Again' from 1965 (Mary & Flo). Casey would have played this during the '80's when AT40 played the number one hits of the 1960's.
