I enjoyed Casey's story this morning about how the band Coldplay has released an album of "lullabies" that are their songs that have been remixed. After telling the story, Casey played the lullaby version of "Yellow" before playing the original as an extra. (Casey's yawn following the drop piece was also a great added touch)
However, I just wish that Casey and the AT20 staff would play more of these drop pieces. I know this has been said before, but there are so many times where Casey will tell a good story and then will simply go 'on with the countdown'. I understand that in today's tight driven playlist world we can't necessarily have all of the extras that relate to the stories, but a drop piece would really help relate Casey's story to the actual music. A good example of this was last weeks story about the Eurythmics releasing new material that had actually been recorded long ago. Rather than play a simple drop piece from this (which I would have loved to have heard) Casey went right into Here Comes The Rain Again.
Just a thought.... trying not to complain too much!

(Casey's yawn following the drop piece was also a great added touch) When I heard AT20 on OZ FM Saturday Morning, I first thought Casey was bored! ha ha. After hearing AT20 again, Casey was simply having fun with the story.
