It is a unique date for the show I am listening to now....7/7/07. It is AT10 and the highest debut record is at #7 of course. "Home" by Daughtry and that is the highest debut of the year so far per Casey.
There's a LDD that bucks the same old dedication songs trend....When in Rome's "The Promise".

AT20 from 7/7/07. Surprised that Casey is still using an aol.com email address. He used it all the way until the end of the shows. And in an alternate universe where his health had not failed and he was still with us and still doing a show, I'd bet he still would use it and not have a website.

Finished the vhs tape recording of WTOJ midnight second airing of the AT40 second show to a DVD-R disc. Later today after my BCC podcasts, it will be ripped to 192k MP3 on my laptop and edited.

It's the AT40 from 7/19/75, and I just heard the Isley Brothers say 'bullsh!t' during the playing of "Fight the Power". I am shocked it got through, but that was the 70s. I could see that happening. And I like it. I despise censorship of the arts. If you can't play a song with an intact lyric, don't play the song.

Pointpark, heard that show yesterday. Love the 8 letter word but in the second hour is quite a story about War!

I remember 7/7/07...I think it was a record date for the number of weddings scheduled due to the "lucky-ness" of that particular date. Listening to 7/10/76--just started the 2nd hour with Keith Carradine's "I'm Easy". Got a chuckle out of the story of the Australian dude named "Jim Abba". Trying to play catch-up again, with all of these recent bonus shows, etc.--a good problem to have...

After those two weeks, though, AT40 did start censoring; in later shows people heard "all this bullBLOOMP goin' down". (The edits sound pretty clumsy.)
