Hottest start to a countdown can be subjective of course. But basing it on chart performance, this week's 70s show is in the running for best ever. The first 6 songs all made either the top 100 of 1976 or 1977. It would take a lot of research to figure out what show had the most songs to start it which made a year end countdown. There is one thing that I can confirm. This is the only AT40 or CT40 in the 20th century that starts with 2 songs by duos that were #1 hits.
