Did anyone else notice this weekends AT20 featured many AT10 and I believe one or two old AT20 AC jingles? (obviously the AT10 jingles used were "Hits from Coast to Coast" and not "American Top 10" jingles)
I thought it sounded refreshing.

Yes, I did notice this. The same thing happened on AT10. The AT20 Hot AC jingles where on the AT10 show. For instance the "Counting em down with Casey Kasem, Casey Kasem" was used on AT10.
I'll bet someone in editing had the jingles in between the shows switched. On the AT20 show as Casey went to a commerical, Casey is cut off on the last word an a typical AT20 jingle was played. I wonder if the orginal edit had an AT10 jingle on AT20.

I noticed the jingles too and was just going to post on this. The above explanation sounds likely.

I file this under "why not?" I think it gives the shows a nice variety...and for people who don't get to hear BOTH shows, they may think that these are "new" jingles. All the better to keep Casey's shows sounding fresh.

When I first heard the jingles, I did think that AT20 had new jingles. It took me a little while to realize those were AT10 jingles. It did sound fresh, and I didn't mind a bit.

A few jingles that are new to AT20 have been added this week, including a couple that I haven't heard since AT20 AC. Sounds good!
