I was listening to the AT20 HAC show from the last week in April 2002, and I heard a rarity for AT20, a question letter. Interestingly, it was a question about what was the highest debut in the top 40 during the rock era. The answer was "Volare" back in 1958, when the song debuted at #2.
I found this interesting for a few reasons:
#1. The question asked about the top 40, even though AT20 is only a top 20
#2. This shows that the show uses Billboard charts up until CT40 era, since several songs had debuted at #1 on Billboard during the 1990s. (of course we all know that, but this is an example of it in action)
#3. QL's are rare on AT20.
I wish there were more QL's answered, especially since this one proves that it doesn't have to be about the specific chart used on AT20 (or AT10 for that matter).

It is very simple.
AT10 and AT20 do not receive any letters concerning the charts. Except for us chart freaks, there is not that interest in today's music fans.
Besides, consider the confusion is having to answer questions concerning today's R+R charts and yesterday's Billboard charts!

The key is to come up with questions that can be answered solely based on R&R charts... * Who was the most successful artist on the AC chart in the 90s? * Who is the most successful artist so far this decade on the AC chart? Etc. Etc... Try sending in something like one of these to casey1110@aol.com!

Well my point was since AT20 had already dealt with a question that didn't just confine itself to R&R, why can't they do it or something similar again?
Also, I used to try to get QL's on the air by asking specific questions about the R&R charts. They never made it, and I gave up. Don't let that stop you guys from trying though! :-)
