WJDX is listed on both the 70's list and the 80's list with overlapping times.
It is on the 80's list as Sunday 8AM to Noon. It is on the 70's list as Sunday 10AM to 1PM
It looks like today (Sunday 2/23) they played 1981 starting at 9AM.

A couple of heads up for anyone planning on catching the February 21st, 1981 show on Hits 100 tomorrow (Sunday the 23rd) at 4 pm Eastern time... First, the "hits100.fm" home page seems to have been totally redesigned since last weekend; in my admittedly slightly out-of-date version of Internet Explorer, I can't click on the "Listen Live" link, nor do I see any obvious menu option which leads to their "Listen Live" player! I had to load up "tunein.com" and search for "hits100" (actually, I Googled "hits100 tunein" and got that page at the top of the first page of results) in order to get their stream! If others have a similar problem with the "Listen Live" link, they could perhaps also try the "Winamp, Screamer Radio and Tapin Radio" link if their computers permit... I use Chrome; "Listen Live" is still right on their homepage. However, I just tried getting that to work, and...clicking Play gives me nothing. That player also seems to be set on automatic Mute, and there's no way to adjust it on my end. E-mailing them about it now... EDIT: ...and, the E-mail bounced. Well, that's just great. If someone could verify if their other link still works, that would be great (I can't, as I don't have Winamp/Screamer/Tapin). WJDX is listed on both the 70's list and the 80's list with overlapping times. It is on the 80's list as Sunday 8AM to Noon. Thanks for the heads-up!

Thanks to pizzzzza for this one: Nice job Mike on maintaining this list! I was surfing the net, and noticed this station is playing the 80s countdown: Sunday 9 am - Noon WKQK - Classic Hits 94.1 KQK - Memphis TN 94.1 FM player.tritonmedia.com/entercom/WKQKFM Played 1st and 2nd Optional Extras Only - May 8 2011 They are listed under the 70s stations list - don't know if this is normal for them or what, but just wanted to let you know, nonetheless. ADDED:------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Saturday 9 am - Noon WKQK - Classic Hits 94.1 KQK - Memphis TN 94.1 FM player.tritonmedia.com/entercom/WKQKFM NOTE: Three-hour timeslot is listed on the website. Uncertain if this is in error - if they do play all four hours, timeslot could be EITHER 8 am - Noon or 9 am - 1 pm. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I've e-mailed them asking about the timeslot - we'll see what happens, there.

Heard back from WKQK. The 80s is on Sunday rather than Saturday, and apparently they do in fact only play 3 hours:
EDIT:
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Sunday (NOTE: Station plays 3 hour version) 9 am - Noon WKQK - Classic Hits 94.1 KQK - Memphis TN 94.1 FM player.tritonmedia.com/entercom/WKQKFM -------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The AT40 the 80s show has been dropped (along with the rest of it's presented shows as the station has switched to non stop auto DJ ) I completely agree. This former affiliate stopped AT 40 late last year. They should immediately be removed from this site. Mike, somehow this got overlooked. Even smiley hates to see them go!

The other station thread was bumped with this reply: I live in the DC area. I emailed someone from WINC and was told that due to Casey's health syndicators are not renewing contracts for stations that broadcast the old shows. The larger implications of this are quite saddening if this is in fact true...but what I find odd about it is, WINC only recently started airing these again - and now they're having the plug pulled with this reason given? Feels like something's not adding up...

Unless someone at WINC thinks that these are 'new' shows with Casey at the mike in 2014... only way I can figure his 'health' as an issue. Or are they saying that Premiere is starting to pull the show, station by station... but how would they know that??

^I've written to them as well, but their reply to me (from their program director Chris Roth) didn't mention a specific reason for dropping it.
It could be that different people at the station had different opinions. If there was some larger move on Premiere's part, I'd have heard about it outside of the boards.

Well, it seems to be obvious that Casey is receiving royalties when the radio stations are airing these retro rebroadcasts. Since Casey is terminally ill and has only months to live, it makes a lot of sense that a lot of affiliates are electing not to renew the contract to air these retro shows when they expire, realizing the end of his life is nearing and eventually the affiliates will be paying money for nothing (not a Dire Straits reference), and I hate to break it to the fans of the show, but this may be the beginning of the end of retro AT40. The only AT40 that will be left will be the one hosted by Ryan, and that will remain on the air as long as the younger generation enjoy celebrity gossip and all the pop, hip-hop, and (c)rap music that most of the older generation tend to despise. And I despise the current AT40 greatly.
Of course, if retro AT40 gets dropped by enough affiliates, and goes off the air completely, I may likely be done with these forums, as I may end up having nothing to contribute for the future.

And I despise the current AT40 greatly. Except for despising AT40 with Seacrest and Casey getting royalties (the former being certain and the latter likely), I don't get this. Casey passing would not mean the affiliates would be "paying money for nothing." We see Beatles shows, Sinatra shows and an entire channel of Bing Crosby shows at Christmas on Sirius/XM, notwithstanding the death of two Beatles and the others. Royalties pass to their heirs or assignees. I fail to see why his passing would trigger a wind-down of the rebroadcasts. (The aging of us folks certainly will have that effect, and probably already is negatively impacting 70s carriage.)
