Did anybody hear Casey's mistake when introing "Better Days" this past weekend? He mentions that there seems to be a theme on this weeks show, noting that the Goo Goo Dolls are in with "Better Days", Daniel Powter is in with "Bad Day" and "The Bon Jovi Group" is in with "Have A Nice Day."
First, I must point out that "Have A Nice Day" fell out over a month ago.
Second, I have to ask, what's "The Bon Jovi Group"? Are they related to the Alan Parsons Project?

This is the error I mentioned in another thread yesterday. I didn't notice "The Bon Jovi Group" part, but mentioning "Have a Nice Day" perked my ears up instantly.

I'm surprised no one has mention this error. It occurred on the April 22-23, 2006 AT20 show. It was during segment 3 in hour one.
Casey was introducing the #15 song, 'Savin Me" by Nickelback. Casey was telling the story how the Canadian band Nickelback was trying to put away the cliche that Canadians say 'eh!"
Casey was quoting Nickelback's guitar player. Casey quoted there was routine on Saturday Night Live about the Mackenzie brothers. All they ate was bacon and beer and said 'eh' a lot..... The story goes on, and Nickelback never says eh, ever.
Of course, the Mackenzie brothers was actually from the sketch show SCTV. It was not from Saturday Night Live. The sketch was the Great White North. SCTV aired on the CBC network in Canada and NBC late night Fridays in the U.S.A.
Of course, since Casey was quoting the statement, it was Nickelback's guitar player who made the error, not Casey and his staff.
By the way, do Canadians say 'eh'? On Detroit radio station WOMC, Dick Purtan on air engineer is John "Ankles" Stewart. He still resides in Windsor, Ontario ,Canada. He has been known to drink beer all the time. On the air he says 'hows it goin, eh?'

By the way, do Canadians say 'eh'?
I'm Canadian and I can confirm that I certainly do say "eh", but is not as common as some people like to think. We certainly do say it much more often than Americans do.

I read this story about Nickelback and drunk driving in the news. Thought this was interesting with this topic. Any opinions?
Nickelback Singer Arrested for Drunk Driving
Chad Kroeger was arrested last Thursday in Canada. Friday, June 30, 2006
Nickelback frontman Chad Kroeger has been arrested for drunk driving in Canada.
Royal Canadian Mounted Police in British Columbia's Lower Mainland say Kroeger was arrested last Thursday.
Corporal Roger Morrow says officers in two RCMP vehicles were suspicious of the way a vehicle was being driven.
Police say the car was also speeding at the time.
One of the officers stopped the car without incident and a drunk driving investigation was initiated.
The singer was not charged at the time, but police say drunk driving charges will be filed against the singer.

This is more of a radio station screwing up AT20, instead of the AT20 making this error.
The "smart" person at "Cheap Channel" in Cincinnati downloaded the wrong segment on the 5/6 Sunday night airing of AT20 on WVMX.
During the 11 PM hour, (Hour 3) segment 3, the #4, #3 AT20 songs were replaced by the Country Music show "American Road." For a minute, I thought WVMX decided to change to the country format right in the middle of AT20.

Star 97.1 in Ashtabula, OH did that with AT10 back in March. The entire third hour was the last hour of the Jeff Foxworthy countdown.
I honestly do not understand how this happens. Working at a station that runs AT20 and now gets the show via the internet site, we do not have access to any other show other than AT20. Unless it's because these big Clear Channel clusters run all the shows and its the same person putting them all in. But for us, the only show we can even access on that site is AT20.
