Anyone else hear that spot where the policeman comes to the door to tell the mother her son was killed in a car accident because he didn't wear a seat belt? It seemed to be stolen directly from the ending of "Once You Understand" by Think! Yes. Like pretty much every other PSA (Public Service Announcement), it's awful and is an instant 'mute'. Much like "Once You Understand". I've muted it twice so far on WPNC's '77 airing. "Hey Mom..." (mute). Man that's a horrible 'spot'.

When I heard "Jet Airliner" mga707 came to mind

When I heard "Jet Airliner" mga707 came to mind Thanks! I wondered if Steve and his Band chartered the same 707 (which was actually a Boeing 720, a slightly shorter derivative of the 707) that Led Zeppelin, Elton John, and other 'A'-list rockers used in the '70s on their American tours. Looked it up and found that he did not. Was surprised that McCartney and Wings chartered a much smaller BAC-111 for their '76 tour. That British aircraft is featured on the "Wings Over America" LP cover. Anyway, that famous 707, er, 720, is in a lot of photos with different band titles on it. images.app.goo.gl/kvCrw8UVg4a8sxxe7...and here's the history of N7201U, aka 'the Starship'. It was not ever chartered for a Steve Miller Band tour. He's singing about a different 707: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Starship

I sent that song to one of my Facebook friends on Messenger in regards to that song in association with that ad. Her reply was "4 minutes of my life I'll never get back". Too funny😊😊😊😊😊

I don't hear the Zevo Bug Spray commercial anymore. Perhaps Premiere decided that that one was annoying as well?

The "Every Breath You Take" ad for Duck Duck Go anyone? For whatever reason that one doesn't bother me...yet. I will say that it's at least a song-and-product pairing that actually makes sense, unlike so many others.

On my iHeartRadio feed: "PriceBelly.com" - What is it like? A rival to GrubHub, DoorDash, and Uber Eats?
