Hey Karen? I really don't care about you or your boyfriend Mike. So just shut up, OK?

If no one has heard any of this week's shows yet, be prepared to hear "Do you sweat the bed?" during the commercial breaks.

Hey Karen? I really don't care about you or your boyfriend Mike. So just shut up, OK? What commercial are you referring to? I didn't hear much of the 70's show this week, and I didn't notice any commercial last week that featured a Karen or a Mike.

'Karen' is the person who is talking, raving about boyfriend 'Mike's' performance, stamina, etc., after taking said substance. Like we care...

Dear god I just heard that Purple Mattress ad. “Do you ever wake up feeling like you’ve been sleeping on a slip and slide”?. Yeah, no can’t say that I have. WTF. That has to be a joke, right? I’m not convinced that’s a real commercial. At first I literally lol’d because I thought it was a joke. Sweating the bed is a..real thing?

Charmin clean bootie is brutal! They also have a TV ad which is awful. At least if it comes on an AT40 program you don't have to see it.

I just heard this for the first time today, but State Farm Insurance has a new ad called "Cover it All" to the tune of O-Town's "All Or Nothing". That may not sound particularly obnoxious, but I cannot and never could stand the O-Town song and will probably be subjected to the ad umpteen times in upcoming weeks, so it is to me.

One day recently a local station running a national talk show played the Noxatril spot followed by a local commercial for a "gentlemen's club" called the Lumber Yard. Their tag-line is "where real men go to get wood." So I figure if the first product can't help the other could be a viable alternative. I know it's crude, but it is hilarious.

I catch the shows over the air on KOKZ out of Waterloo,KIOA out of Des Moines and if the weather and atmosphere is right Mix 96 out of the Quad Cities. The Lumber Yard is in the Cedar Rapids/Iowa City area.
