"What happened? You used to go hours without visiting the bathroom."
What happened? We used to go a lot longer without having to hear this ad.

Noxatril is almost as bad as "My No. 2 ..." Nothing could be AS bad as that. I heard "#2" on the radio while driving to work this morning. It wasn't during a radio show like AT40, just a regular morning drive time ad. I started laughing. I heard it at least 4 times during the 11/9/74 show this past weekend. That's more than once per hour. Must be gearing up for the holidays...

I know we love to complain about the irritating, obnoxious ads that are often featured during AT40 reruns (and our complaints are usually justified). But I tell you, I would take Flo, Jeremy's mother, Katie & her mother in the shower, the #2 woman, --- even the woman who threw up this morning --- before I'd relive the past two months with its beyond annoying, beyond exasperating POLITICAL ADS!! I probably was inundated with them more than most of you because my home state (Indiana) had one of the most-watched senatorial races in the nation---incumbent Joe Donnelly vs Mike Braun. (Braun won.) What was even worse, last spring, I had to endure ads with Braun, plus ads from TWO other guys competing with him in the primary election. What made the recent onslaught even worse was that about half of the ads were from unaffiliated partisan organizations. The political ads wouldn't be so bad if they were 95% factual and maybe 5% BS, but it's usually the other way around. They make all other advertising paragons of honesty by comparison. But, alas, I guess they're here to stay, so whatever. And guess what, 2020 is coming. Yippee!! I'm slf, and I approve this message.

SO glad it's over.

This has been covered but I’m dreading the Christmas ads we will be hearing for the next two months.
And yes those political ads were annoying. Glad it’s over.

Eight years ago, I went to a Notre Dame football game in South Bend--and during my short time there in 2010, I came to despise the virulence of the political attack ads there. This fall, our Congressional district was subjected to a seemingly endless onslaught of attack ads between the incumbent and the challenger. The ads were the worst example of "He said, she said." And there were constant telemarketing calls on my phone from each campaign! Aargh!

If I hear that "salsa, salsa, sweater" ad again, I may get very cross with my radio and give it a stern glare.

Holy s*** that Chilli’s commercial is annoying. I almost miss Flo and Katie and her mom. I don't think I've even noticed it! Guess I must not find it annoying, unlike that Noxatril (sp?) ad with that woman with the 'nudge-nudge, wink-wink' voice. All I can think of when I hear her is Stormie Daniels...

The Frizz-Ease commercial with the vocal fry voice-over may be long gone, but now that same person can be heard on a new ad about some kind of bra (I muted the audio the second I heard the "Hey, ladies."
Also, while looking back in this thread I saw this post by one-time-only poster vamike:
The date this was written? February 4th, 2017. We've been stuck with that ad for nearly two years now; let's hope 2019 is the year it's finally retired.

Oh goody, Tiffany Haddish made another Groupon commercial. Gosh, I could just listen to her voice for hours. Seriously, who thought that was a good idea?
