Dear god, I just heard the latest Motel 6 commercial. I never thought it could get worse but now Tom Bodett is “rapping”, just like Flo did in those stupid Progressive ads. Whose bright idea was that? While we’re at it, this has been mentioned before those Jergens ads with Judd Apatow’s wife are unbearable as well.

For the first time in a long time, there are no ads this week dealing with bodily functions. Biore is a good substitute for Oxy 10 and Clearisil as far as zit commercials are concerned. I remember a while back reminiscing about Motel 6 commercials. Now they are back with a vengeance. I'll take Tom Bodett over Flotection any day of the week. You might regret that. Wait until you hear the latest ad. |

Have absolutely NO clue who 'Tiffany Hadish' (sp?) is, but man, her fingernails-on-chalkboard voice is getting mighty annoying!

I luvvv the Wicked Witch/Waterslide Geico ad! At this point I would take the Wicked Witch over those annoying Tom Bodett/Motel 6 ads. |

I think at this point we can all agree that any ad that attempts to be 'clever' wears out it's welcome very fast. Hear that, Capital One? "You're a nincompoop!"

I listened to recordings of this past weekend's shows I made a few years ago and got to 'enjoy' classic Flo along with Jeremy/Total Transformation ads.

Dear lord I can’t take that Geico “emotional rollercoaster” commercial anymore. I usually like the Geico ads but lately they’ve been really annoying. But hey, at least we haven’t heard the number 2 ad lately right?

First there was "#2 doesn't look like a #2". Then there was "I threw up this morning". Now here is another classic-The Pepto Bismol ad greeted with a bowel noise followed by music that sounds like early 90's Bell Biv Devoe. What is next? A 45rpm record of Eddy Grant's "Electric Avenue" played at 33rpm to simulate bowel noises after a rough night at Taco Bell. These ads these days are really going to S#@&

Brace yourselves, the dreaded "My number two doesn't look like number two" ad is back. I thought that was gone for good. I have to say though, the Progressive "swearing like a sailor" ad made me laugh my a** off. The first time that has happened.

I'd be "happy as a clam" if they dropped that Geico ad. Probably the worst one. The way he says "chowdah!" is so annoying.
