I was listening to KGOR at work last night, and a funny one came up. The Thompson Twins "Hold Me Now" goes as follows in chorus-"Hold Me Now Whoa oh Warm My Heart" when it sounds more like "Hold Me Now Whoa oh Blow My Farts!"LOL

Bumping this up again.I love this thread! I was 11 at the time and thought that in the Grand Funk song "Some kind Of Wonderful" the line was "Children up and down my spine" instead of "Chills run up and down my spine"

Today I heard "Clap For The Wolfman" by The Guess Who on the radio and I remember thinking that in one of the lines that Wolfman Jack does that he says "As long as you have the curves, baby,I got the ankles" instead of "As long as you got the curves, baby, I got the angles"

ELO's "Evil Woman" includes the tic "E-evil woman" in the chorus. I always thought it sounded like "Medieval Woman".

After hearing last week's 82 show I wondered if anyone thought the new Stevie Wonder song was called "Fat Girl."

I was just listening to this song and was reminded when I was 8 years old back in 1964 I thought the Zombies were singing -
the way she had to have the color of her hair.
I guess I thought she insisted on that color!

Last night I listened to a 1971 countdown including Donny Osmond's "Sweet and Innocent," but when Casey announced the title I thought he said "Sweet Medicine."

In 1968 I thought Aretha was singing a song about The House Detective.
Speaking of which - when Grand Funk sang that the hotel detective was out of sight I thought they meant he was really groovy and was letting them get away with stuff. After all what else would - out of sight - have meant back then? Certainly not what it literally meant.
