Noticed the new "Book of Records" feature on both Casey shows this weekend. Great segment...perhaps they could expand it a bit more in the coming weeks. Not so much in AT10 since they have the spotlight, and having two "features", plus the countdown, would be way too much. But in AT20 they could do it once an hour, each show having the same 'record'.

So, what was this "Book Of Records" feature like? Give us a few details.

Casey simply opened up "The AT20 Book of Records" (or on AT10, the AT10 book of records), and on AT20, told a story about how many albums Shania Twain has sold and played an extra by Shania.
As I said, it really wasn't 'much', just an elaborate extra story.I would like to see the feature evolve. The AT20 voice guy comes on before the jingle into the segment and says "The American Top 20 Book of Records is brought to you by...."

Actually, the "Book of Records" is nothing new, but Casey hasn't referred to it in quite some time.
The "Book of Records" segment goes way back to the early days of AT40. During the "classic" (ie, original Casey and Shadoe) run of AT40, two "Book of Records" specials were done, where the entire 4-hour show was on different "pages" of the book. (These shows were not countdowns.)
To this day, Ryan often refers to the Book of Records, which I think is a nice throwback and continuity to the Casey days of AT40.
Nice to hear the AT20/10 "Book of Records," however, since this lets Casey still do the features. Hopefully it will be a regular feature for Casey once again.

Perhaps Casey could mention AC and Hot AC records from time to time with this feature.
Apparently they have no problem with people knowing what the AC chart is, and for the other one, they can either say "the Hot 20 chart" or simply "AT20 Records".
