Mark said Air Supply first charted AC with 'Nights. They entered both charts 6/12/82. At least he didn't call them a duo.

In her weekly chart screw up, Nina said Survivor was #1 for seven weeks, really 6. Then she said 'Tiger was the #1 song of 1982. Don't tell that to ONJ!

Don't tell that to ONJ!I know this isn't a television or sports forum, but that's what you get when the top two singles of a year-end chart aren't aligned with the same season ("Physical" was from 1981-82 [charted from October '81 to March '82], and "Eye of the Tiger" from 1982-83 [charting from June to November '82]).

Alan mentioned Michael Nesmith as part of the reunited Monkees. Of course the countdown 1986 version were Peter Tork and Micky Dolenz only.

Maybe Nina looked at the Cash Box 1982 year end chart , which had Eye of the Tiger by Survivor at #1. That would be ironic considering when the Big 40 started they used the Cashbox charts before switching to Billboard.

Alan said Woo Woo would be Osbourne's biggest hit. That would be solo. His biggest away from LTD was played 2 weeks ago by Casey lite; Love Power w/Dionne Warwick.

Then in her weekly content screw up Nina said Winwood would score 5 hits from his 'High Life album. That release would tally 4 Hot 100 entries. Nina said the same thing before playing "Higher Love." The fifth entry she's referring to is a song called "Split Decision," which hit the rock chart only.

I think I heard Nina flub the name of the "Baby Love" artist's former new-wave band ("Regina Roberts and Red Hot"?).
