Alan said No Time "To" Talk was on the same album that included Arthur's Theme. Of course that soundtrack hit came out a year and a half before Chris' Another Page.

FWIW, Wikipedia says that "Arthur's Theme" was included as a bonus track on the cassette version of "Another Page", as well as the CD when that was released, so sorry vinyl LP buyers. Of course most consumers who wanted that song had probably purchased the single or the Arthur soundtrack album over a year earlier.

After a vintage good/bad, ugly comment Alan said Ronnie's 35th single was a biggie. Stranger was his 32nd country charting single that produced counting "B" sides 38 country entries. As far as total singles by that point, including non charters my guess is he had to be pushing 50.

The display and Mark called the Mornin' singer Al Jarreau. Of course as Casey's told us on the real AT40 this week, at this point he was billed as just Jarreau.

Al Jarreau only billed himself just with the surname for one album. I don't know why he did that, but most knew who he was so I don't really consider that an error.

Mark said "later on in the month" GKB would get stuck at #2 behind Beat It. Jeopardy had been stuck but now was free & falling down the chart.

In her weekly content screwup Nina said Overkill was the 2nd single from MAW's album. It was really the leadoff single from Cargo.

Alan called Always Something There To Remind Me performers Cutting Crew before catching himself and introing them correctly as Naked Eyes. Funny because last week he caught himself twice.

After being incorrectly displayed as JM, Alan said he reverted to using John Cougar Mellencamp for countdown Pop Singer. He had never stopped. He didn't drop Cougar until he got a leg up a couple years later.
