I Should Be So Lucky if this train wreck ends soon. Mark said Loco-Motion was Kylie's first single?! It wasn't even her first top 40! Then he placed Mindbenders 'Love in 1965. They really got Groovy in 1966.

Wasn't 'Lies released in England first? Yes it was, and guess what website lists in as such in the first column? It was also rereleased over there around the time it charted in America, but it flopped both times.

Mark said Elt did better in the UK (#22) than US (#20)?? Wrap Her Up did do better across the pond because the real top off was #12.

1980? This could get ugly... As a bonus prediction I say we get two references to this being a year before MTV and/ or the charts being a mixed bag.

From the last '84 Countdown:
Alan, after Chaka Khan's "I Feel for You" cover (at #14), referred to Prince's self-titled 1979 album as his "debut". While it did feature his Top-40 debut single "I Wanna Be Your Lover", the "Prince" album was actually his second album; "For You" was his debut album.

The laziness isn't just limited to Casey lite; this morning before LRB's 'Long Way, Tragic Matt said 'here's an act that has had at least nine hits'. Wow, don't kill yourself doing real research Tragic.
