Mark said Young Love was anchored at #38. That wouldn't happen until the 10/30/82 panel; on the "Oct 22nd" Hot 100 it has a superstar bullet.

In her weekly content screw up Nina said countdown The One You Love was the first single from Frey's album. That would be I Found Somebody. This was after calling Love Come Down artist Evelyn Champagne King. At this point the bubbly bottle was empty and wouldn't be refilled for a few years.

The display read Michael Martin Murphey. The 3rd M wasn't added until 1984. At least Mark did a correct artist ID.

After a couple rough weeks for Casey lite, late 1984 should be in the heart of the VJs comfort zone.

With it's #24 peak on Radio & Records, Steel Breeze definitely had two hits.

OMG, for Strung Out they played another track from Street Talk!
You knew things weren't gonna start well when Alan proclaimed this the "Oct 26th" chart.

A VJ Making Mistakes (Isn't A Temporary Thing). Mark said even though this was their only chart entry Romeo Void shouldn't be considered a 1 hit wonder. He never bothered elaborating why.

In her weekly chart screw up, Nina moved Survivor ^6. I Can't Hold Back really climbed 32-36

You know, I'm quite unfamiliar with Strung Out so I didn't realize it was a totally different song, however I did keep thinking it didn't sound much like Steve Perry singing.
The 90s on 9 countdown has occasionally played the wrong album cut before, but this is the first time I ever remember the VJs doing so.

Well this is a new one. No year on the display for Downtown Life. I actually kinda like it, at least they can't screw up.
BTW this is the guys most undercharting song ever, IMO!
