Stevie Nicks' "Nightbird" quotes her own subtitle, "Just like the white winged dove" (from "Edge of Seventeen"). Shouldn't that be the other way around? "Nightbird" is mentioned in "Edge Of Seventeen", but I don't see "Just like the white winged dove" anywhere in "Nightbird". She sings it somewhere toward the end of the song from what I remember. |

Paul Anka's "I Don't Like to Sleep Alone" says "like a man said in his song, help me make it through the night"--the man being Kris Kristofferson, who wrote "Help Me Make It Through the Night", though it was actually a top 40 hit for two different female singers (Sammi Smith and Gladys Knight.) In the same tune Anka mentions Lean On Me. |
