While one might question if it really has lyrics, in "Double Barrel" (1971) Dave and Ansill Collins shout "Soul power!", which was the title of a James Brown hit several months earlier. And in 1994 the "Double Barrel" title was heard in Beck's "Loser".

Not quite exactly the same lyrics, but an interesting coincidence in the 8/11/73 AT40. Johnnie Taylor was at #12 with "I Believe In You (You Believe In Me)", and up next at #11 was Chicago's "Feelin' Stronger Every Day", which opens with the line "I do believe in you, and I know you believe in me".

Her autumn 1971 song, Don't Riders On The Storm, failed to chart.

In this week's 11/17/79 show, there's Kool and the Gang's "Ladies Night" with the line "Come on you disco lady", the last two words being the title of a 1976 hit for Johnnie Taylor, which appeared as an Archives extra in this countdown right before the Gang's song.

Stevie Nicks' "Nightbird" quotes her own subtitle, "Just like the white winged dove" (from "Edge of Seventeen"). Shouldn't that be the other way around? "Nightbird" is mentioned in "Edge Of Seventeen", but I don't see "Just like the white winged dove" anywhere in "Nightbird".
