The world of entertainment is mourning the loss of Jack Klugman who passed away Monday at the age of 90-Klugman had a long career in movies & TV-He'll always be remembered for his portrayal of sportswriter Oscar Madison on the classic series "The Odd Couple" (1970-1975) & "Quincy" (1976-1983) in which he played a coroner. What few people know about Klugman is that he was a singer-In 1973,Klugman & his "OC" co-star Tony Randall recorded an album called "The Odd Couple Sings"-The album flopped,as you might imagine, but it's since become a much sought after collector's item-The album's highlight is their rendition of Carly Simon's "You're So Vain" which has to be hilarious.

Saw him on a couple of episodes yesterday on the Match Game 50th anniversary marathon on GSN. Sad. Deaths in 2012 continue to mount. I know not everyone feels this way, but this year has sucked both personally and in deaths of famous people I had a great admiration for and meant a lot to me. I'll be happy to see this year go away.
