An interesting trivia nugget for us: "Fly, Robin Fly" was mentioned twice during the AT 12-24-83 show. The first time as part of the intro for, "Major Tom" when Casey talked about German recording acts and then again in the next hour as part of the intro for, "Union of the Snake", when Casey was talking about different birds that had gone to number one. Just something I found interesting

Just something I found interesting Why would Casey have mentioned songs about birds while talking up "Union of the Snake?" IIRC, he was talking about hits mentioning animals in general. And in 1983 Duran Duran had two such hits, "Union of the Snake" and "Hungry Like the Wolf".

He listed the three animal groups that had made the Top 40 the most often: 3) Dogs 2) Insects 1) Birds, including the two number one bird songs, "Fly, Robin Fly" and "Disco Duck".
