some early 70's AT 40 shows are broadcasted in Mono . Does it means that's the way it was at this period ?

Yes. Perhaps Pete or Shannon can clarify the dates, but the early shows were produced in mono.

Yes. Perhaps Pete or Shannon can clarify the dates, but the early shows were produced in mono. Since I beat Pete here LOL....the shows were produced in mono up through February 1973. However, even with Feb 1973 shows and well into 1975, mono versions of many singles were still played. I don't have Pete's book in front of me to give you the exact date but I want to see it went stereo the second week in Feb '73.
