Did Casey Kasem ever count down the top songs of the 1990's?
I believe there was a listing. If so, does anyone know where I could find a list?
Thank you very much!

Thank you very much.
Interesting list. I wonder how they tabulated songs such as Romantic by Karyn White and a few others being on there over songs like Mr. Jones, Don't Turn Around, and I Believe (to name a few).

Probably credited position on the year end charts somehow in order that all years of the 1990s were represented. Just completed a personal chart for the top 100 of the last 25 years and had to apply such weights to give the 1980s and early 1990s hits some chance. Songs from 1994 on average remained on the chart longer than songs from 1982-1994 due to a change in R/R chart methodology at some point in 1994.

I doubt that year-end positions had anything to do with it. It would seem logical that they would have used songs in the Top Five of all of the year-end charts of the 1990s, but there are several songs that never even made the Top Ten of the year that are on the list, yet "Missing" by Everything But The Girl, which was number one for all of 1996, is nowhere on the list. None of Casey's Hits Of The 1990s lists were very accurate. Of course, due to the change in the chart figuring system in 1994, accuracy would be next to impossible. They would have to come up with some sort of system in order to fairly rank songs before 1994 with songs that were on the chart during the PPW (plays per week) era.
