foxallaccess.blogs.fox.com/When I worked early on Saturday morning, I would occasionally listen to Chris Leary on FOX All Access. At one time it was a Top 15 countdown (I have a couple shows like this from 2002) but the show wasn't in countdown form for the last several years. I actually thought this was a very well produced show and I always liked Chris Leary was a great host. I know there was both a Hot AC and CHR version of the show, and it was a nice mix of music, interviews, and commentary and stories from Chris. While it wasn't a weekly appointment tune in for me, I enjoyed the show when I heard it and I will miss it.

Wow, the similar Best Week Ever Radio was previously a Top 15 countdown too, then just went with playing current songs at random. The difference between that and Fox All Access is that occasionally, the latter would play an older song while Best Week Ever Radio stuck strictly to songs that were on the countdown (usually in the Top 20, but occasionally they'd play a song that was not yet in the Top 20). Anyway, like Paul, I also didn't know Fox All Access was still around. I only listened to it until 94.9 The Coast (Benton Harbor, Michigan) dropped the show in November, 2007. I think they were having problems with the distributors, since they had a tendency to play the same show for weeks and weeks - there hadn't been a new show since August, 2007 - in other words, they played the same show for three months, lol! |

I never made it is a point to listen to it. I know if aired for a few years before Casey's Top 40/American Top 40 in Jax but other than that I only knew of it's existence when I'd look at radio station sites and see they carried it.
