I was in a Johnny Rockets recently and as I was checking out songs on their counter-top jukebox, I was thinking how when I was younger (early 90s), "oldies" music referred to songs from the 50s, 60s, and maybe 70s. So back then, anything more than twenty years old was considered oldies in my mind. After looking at some of the songs on the jukebox, I realized that since it's 2012, taking my view that oldies were songs that were more than twenty years old, oldies would now have to include 80s music, and the jukebox in the Johnny Rockets reflected that. There were quite a few 80s songs on there. The most recent song on it was the B-52's "Love Shack" (1989), but it also included "Rapper's Delight" (rap songs are oldies now), "Girls Just Wanna Have Fun", and "Celebration".
