Next Saturday,7/7,WCBS-FM (101.1) will be celebrating its 40th anniversary-With the exception of a slight format change from 2005-2007,CBS-FM has been "New York's Oldies Station"-The list of individuals who have sat behind the microphone would include Bill Brown,Don K.Reed,Dick Heatherton,Bob Shannon,Bruce "Cousin Brucie" Morrow,Max Kinkel,Norm N.Nite,Harry Harrison,Ron Lundy,& Dan Ingram-Happy anniversary CBS-FM!

Given how terrible CBS-FM has become, hearing its 40th-anniversary special would only make me mourn for that once-great oldies station.

Adding AT40 to their schedule as part of a 40th Anniversary celebration -- how incredible would that be?
Instead, mediocrity rules. Move on, nothing to see here. And nothing to listen to either.
