Hello Everybody
I'm Jacques from France and a big fan of AT 40 since its beginning on July 1970.
Is it too soon to know if there will be special broadcast of both AT 40 of the 70's and 80's around Xmas and New Year's Eve : i mean Year end countdowns or special Top 40 ?
For both XM Radios and us local radios ( which are often different broadcasts )

I would imagine they will air either part 1 and 2 of the shows on both OTA versions, or the final 3 or 4 hours, depending on the version.
As far as XM, I don't remember what they did last year but I would assume whatever they did, they will do again.

last year XM did the top100 of 1980 and top100 of 1976, broken down into 2 weeks. Right at the end of the year, after xmas.

I would think that they'll possibly do the same as AT40 Flashback and run part 2 of the show. Or perhaps, they'll do it over two weeks, since oftentimes, the first regular show of the New Year would have a subhost. Of course, they don't always run the show from the corresponding weekend (i.e. The October 1981 show they did recently was two weeks removed from the weekend that they ran it).
