How about "Convoy" by C. W. McCall that hit #1 in January 1976? It talked about long-haired followers of Jesus in a chartreuse microbus, back when the "convoy" was on US 66 somewhere in Illinois (this was before I-55, which connects St. Louis to Chicago).

Jesus take the Wheel by Carrie Underwood. I don't think it is top 10, though. I Knew Jesus Before He Was a Star by Glenn Campbell. Only made it to 45 on the top 100.

Yikes I didn't think of that one. Good call.

I Knew Jesus Before He Was a Star by Glenn Campbell. Only made it to 45 on the top 100. This one made it a little closer to the Top 40 than #45. Kinda. The title was sampled within "Watergrate" by Dickie Goodman, which climbed to #42 in July 1973.

I think Poison's "Something To Believe In" mentioned Jesus a couple of times. And it made the top 10. I think you're right. He tells me believe on Jesus / Steal the money from my handIt hit No .4.

I don't know where it peaked, but "Mighty Clouds of Joy" by B.J. Thomas has "Holy Jesus" in the lyrics.

Not sure if it's on Ryan Seacrest's AT40 yet, but Lady Gaga has a song called "You And I" - it mentions Jesus in the lyrics:
It's my daddy and Nebraska and Jesus Christ / Something, something about the chase
If it's on AT40 now, it's definitely not in the top ten - yet. But knowing how hot Lady Gaga is on the charts these days, I wouldn't be shocked if she makes the top ten with this one.
