In years past i know several stations have aired AT40 marathons during Memorial Day weekend...anyone have info if any stations intend on doing that this weekend??

I'm hoping so, although many of the stations that previously ran the AT40 marathons have since dropped the show.
I'm hoping that, if any stations are doing this, that the AT40 Newcomers special is among the shows slated for broadcast!

What *is* important, however, is that we never take for granted what freedoms, large or small, we enjoy as a result of those who sacrifice for us. It's only fitting that we remember them -- and thank them -- at least once a year.

I think a lot lose sight with all the Memorial Day sales, cookouts, baseball, etc. They ran a video this morning at church showing the coffins draped in the flag, Arlington National Cemetary, etc which puts the whole day in great (and weekend) perspective. |

Anyone know if WSVX is doing a marathon this weekend? Reason I ask is, right now they're playing neither the 1988 Special nor 5/31/86. No, instead...they're doing 5/14/88, from two weeks ago!  |

I understand this, being a native Hoosier, the Indianapolis 500 annually pays tribute to those who have made those sacrifices by playing taps after their "Invocation"!  PS-Didn't Casey Kasem do his SR segment about "Taps"? I'd thought he did, but can't remember an exact countdown and I don't think he'd mentioned the Indy 500. |

I´m listening to WXHC right now with the NO1 hits of the 70s - unfortunately the right channel of their stream does not work  - more reliable is WPNC that also runs the No1 hits of the 70s right now... |
