First clue to the surprise countdown...
Its another "label" countdown, unrelated to Motown.

Second clue: The label has had hits in the following categories: Jazz, Rock, Dance, Funk & Adult Contemporary styles! I believe I know what label... ...it's Dickie Goodman's Rainy Wednesday label. He covered them all! ;D Actually, I'll go with Atlantic Records, the home of Aretha, Roberta Flack, and the Spinners.

Dukedeb inboxed me that guess. He, as you, are incorrect. Good guess though, and like I said to him, I did consider a countdown doing Atlantic and its subsidaries, and may do it someday, but not this time!

Good guess, lots of goodies on there. Simon & Garfunkel, Barbra Streisand, Chicago....
But no, not that one.

Is it Casablanca Records (didn't they have both Donna Summer and KISS)?

What about RSO Records which had a ton of hits in the 70's?

What about RSO Records which had a ton of hits in the 70's? I don't recall Casablanca or RSO having any jazz hits. My guess would be A&M.

By the way, I took a look. Casablanca didn't have enough hits for even a top 50 show! RSO had barely enough if I decide to do one of that label...
There will be very few extras in these specials... Matter of fact:
A&M- 2 extras Motown 70's & 80's- NO extras Motown 60's- undecided and TBA.

Its ok to say. You'd be surprised at the artists/songs that DIDNT make the top 100!
