It's back and (somehow if its possible) BETTER THAN EVER!
We keep some old features like the #1 Flashback and the Top 5 albums recap with a Bonus Track from the #1 album, sometimes others...
We continue our Extras from 41-100+ (Sometimes we get something that was bubbling under!)
Plus from the Classic Rock Countdown, we've added the B-Side Spotlight.
We recap the previous weeks top 3 and so far in the first month, we haven't yet needed all of the top 3 to be played for time reasons!
PM me for more details!

The first show is 5-3-69.
I wont give them away but the rest of the month will consist of shows from the following years:
1965, 1966 & 1968... Not in that order!

I've heard a couple of your shows and you are doing a fantastic job. Wonder when the 1966 show will air. I have that too scheduled for my May broadcast. Should be interesting.

Trying to get on a terrestrial station, If you know of anyone who'd enjoy broadcasting them on a real station, definitely let me know!
Pandy, I will say its not the same week you're doing. I did that week last year, matter of fact.

Here is the first show! 5-3-69 www.adrive.com/public/qWtCWZ/MERC 5-3-69.zip Due to the space between MERC and 5-3-69, it dowsn't do the whole URL at is clickable. Not sure how to fix it for this one, but just copy and paste the whole thing into the browser window to download the show. I promise future shows will be without a space!

A minute and 45 seconds for my fave song so far....More Today Than Yesterday? According to youtube, this song is anywhere from 2:57 to 3:15. What's up with that?
Edited extra was Cream wasn't it? Those are my fave songs so far...lol

By the end of the 60's, squeezing it into 3 hours isn't easy. Especially when there are some long tunes on the show. Atlantis by Donovan, Aquarius by 5th Dimension, Boxer by S&G... When I choose to edit songs, the ones that are played ad nauseum are my first targets.... sorry.
Oh yeah, only 2 exras in the show from 41-100, plus the b-side spotlight, #1 flashback and cut from the #1 album. And one of the 2 bonus cuts from 41-100 was edited too!

Jeff,
Again thank you and the staff for bringing back the MERC!
But . . .
Now it's correction time! On this week's show you said the Vince Guaraldi Trio's original version of "Cast Your Fate to the Wind" never charted.
But it did! It hit #22 in early 1963.
With the original, The Sounds Orchestral version, and the vocal version by Shelby Flint, you can't go wrong with any of them!

You know.... Every so often, when I'm scripting the show, I don't fact check.
And EVERY TIME, it turns out that I should have...
Thanks, I appreciate your listening and such.
SKYSETH, I have been busy this week. I'll get it up soon, sorry.
