Greg Ham, one time member of Men At Work, was found dead at his home in Melbourne, Australia. Ham was a major contributor to Men At Work's distinctive sound. He played the saxophone riff in "Who Can It Be Now", and also came up with the flute riff in "Down Under".
The flute riff was, however, the cause of a major copyright lawsuit against the band. In 2010 a court agreed that said flute riff was plagiarized from the children's nursery rhyme "Kookaburra". Ham was quoted as being devasted by the verdict. He said, "It will be the way the song is remembered, and I hate that. I'm terribly disappointed that that's the way I'm going to be remembered - for copying something."
No cause of death was given, although a homicide squad is involved due to "unexplained issues". Ham was 58.

I'm sorry to hear about Greg Ham. He will be greatly missed.
BTW, The Professional Bowlers Association used to play "Down Under" whenever two-handed Aussie sensation Jason Belmonte threw a strike. I haven't heard it there in the last two seasons. Could the court verdict be one of the reasons they stopped playing it?

It´s a sad news and also about the song, which Casey and other DJ consider it as another Aussie national athem.
