In case you didn't know, AT40 has its own I-Heart station but the show itself is only broadcast that I know about on saturday noon/eastern time. The entire show is played with all the optional extras without commercials which leaves 9 minutes of filler music at the end of each hour. Just go to the AT40.com site and click on listen to AT40.

Thats what I dont understand about this channel. It is no different than any of the other CHR/Pop channels and stations. As the AT40 channel, I think it should be the current week's AT40 looped 24/7, with perhaps Saturday at Noon as a good time to start the new week.

Or, if you want affiliate stations to have "first dibs" (which I totally would understand) have it be 24/7 AT40 from Monday-Friday, and other programming on the weekend while affiliate stations air the show.

Thank you for the info because it was soooo apalling not hearing that show today on that channel. They used to air the "encore" editions on Friday evenings at 9 pm CST.

Do they do the same for the Hot AC AT40 edition?. That one has less radio exposure and it is the best edition. BTW, the iHeart Radio Channel is blocked outside The States if you use a computer, but it is not if you use a reciva wifi radio.

I doubt the HAC version is aired on it. The channel itself is CHR when the show doesn't air so I don't see them airing that version.

Better yet would be AT40 from all eras looped 24/7, with a different 70s, 80s, 90s, and retro 2000s show featured for the week along with the current week's countdown (ideally also using Casey's Top 40 to supplement the 90s.)

Show just ended minutes ago and Ryan Seacrest ended his show with a moment of silence in honour of his friend and mentor, Dick Clark after his brief speech. I'm still not fond of the guy, at the same time he's professional and growing.
Yours, Josh Joel

This week a tribute to Dick Clark and I would not be surprised if he salutes Casey next week a day after he turns 80.

I wonder how many affiliates will air the Dick Clark tribute at the end, since I'm sure it was a last minute download on the ftp site. WAKS ran it this morning
