I listen to sat radio and if it comes on I hit the button to change channels. The only time I actually listen to it is if I'm listening to an old countdown show and it comes on there.

I have no problem with Run-Around or Breakfast's At Tiffany. I didn't write down the countdowns in 1995-96 and listened to Rick Dees on KDWB half asleep most Sundays. When you make a living playing music at parties, you don't play either of those two songs because you can't dance to them along Alanis-Hootie music of that time period. I really wasn't overexposed to them. I like all those songs, especially "Breakfast at Tiffany's." IMO, they're good songs/artists that just got overplayed. Since then, there's much worse stuff that has similarly been run into the ground.

another crappy song that was a major smash hit in ealry 1993, was 4 -non blondes :what's up: terrible song. But i figured it ot. by 93 america was ready for a major change in music. people were so glad to be out of the 80's and were ready for something totally diffrent. And they got it. The more goofy and corky the lyrics and singers were the better the public sucked it up. Other songs that were strange but people loved, were also from 93, the crash test dummies song. ummm ummm and blind melons no rain.. And 94's new age girl by deadeye dick. thank god were dont hear that one anymore..

Maybe not in your area, but of the ones you listed, 4 Non Blondes is the least likely heard in my area of Upstate NY. The other 3 are still played alot on modern rock stations.

I think "I Love You Always Forever" is a great song. She's got such a hot voice. "What's Up" is much better in the He-Man version... youtu.be/X8Nc8RCLy1s
