If "Part Of Me" debuts at #1 on the HOT 100 (as predicted) this Thursday when the new Billboard charts are released, I think Katy will set a record.

Her song is currently #1 on the "Bubbling Under the HOT 100" chart.

If she debuts at #1, the song will have leaped from #101 to #1. The biggest chart movement ever to #1.

Technically Billboard would count it was yet another debut at #1, rather than a 100-point leap. So...that wouldn't be a record-breaker in that category.

It is official now. The HOT 100 for March 3, 2012 will have "Part Of Me" - Katy Perry debuting at #1. Billboard won't credit this as the biggest leap to #1, but I believe no song has ever jumped from #101 to #1.
