I was reading Pete's book and in a few episodes, its mentioned that Casey talks about a high pitched track on a British release but can't play it. I dont seem to have any of the episodes its talked about in, so can anyone relay this story? Is it just a high pitched track on its own or is it a different version of a song that was released in different form in the USA?

I believe you're talking about the story that, at the very end of the "Sgt. Pepper's" album after "A Day In The Life" completely fades out, Paul is recorded blowing a whistle that only dogs can hear, or a generated tone of the same pitch is "heard". It was also included in the 1980 "Beatles Rarities" album. (Side 2 Track 7) en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rarities_(1980_The_Beatles_album)

This is only available on the Parlophone label (PSCO 7027) of the British version of Sgt. Pepper. on the 'runout' groove. It is not released on Capitol 2653.
