I did a little math; if each of the 531 members of this board shelled $190.00, collectively, we got a chance! The coverage map radio-locator.com/cgi-bin/pat?call=KXLI&service=FM&status=L&hours=U indicates a good signal into Vegas but otherwise a lot of stinking desert. And does that picture represent the whole complex? What about a main studio, production room, sales offices, the GM's private Jacuzzi and bar? On a serious note, I'm in an area where residential homes are going buyerless for years and signs saying "reasonable offers considered" are the norm. I'll pass!

Well, the final bid for this radio station was for $300,000, a far cry below the $8 million original, buy-it-now price. What's interesting is that the seller has a zero eBay rating. And, by coincidence, the "buyer" had a zero eBay rating. Hmmm...

The station used to be Vegas's Dance station, The Vibe, before switching to "Jelli" (all listener requests via web/iphone app). As I understand it, the 94.5 freq became a rock version of Jelli, the CHR/dance/Rhythmic station moved to 96.7. 94.5 is really a rim-shot in Vegas.........................hard to pick up in downtown.

And only $275,000. Let me get my other pants... I have an idea. You guys all give me $275,000 and I'll pay my house and student loans off. Then I'll sell advertising to my front window for corporations. You'll probably make more $$ that way than buying a radio station from ebay. But then again, maybe I am just old school and don't think this is how legitimate things like this happen.

If I had a radio station, that thing would PRINT money! But no one gives me the chance to show my stuff... Their loss I guess!
