XL106.7 in Orlando started carrying "Casey's Top 40" in June '91, Mix 105.1 carried it before in O-Town. Yeah I knew it aired on XL prior, the op though was just asking for those years. Maybe you can answer this question, what time did CT40 air on Mix? I've always thought it'd be a good strategy to when the show leaves one station and shows up on another to run it at the same time the other had it on at least to establish to the audience you now have the show. Mix 105.1 aired "Casey's Top 40" on Sundays 9am-1pm and aired AT40 with Shadoe Stevens Sundays 7pm-11pm. XL106.7 aired Rick Dees on Saturdays 6am-10am during that period. Once Mix dropped both Shadoe and Casey, XL dropped Rick Dees and picked up both Shadoe and Casey (AT40 on Saturdays 6am-10am and "Casey's Top 40" on Sundays 8am-noon).

I recall trying to find CT40 on the radio in the last few years of the WW1 run was difficult to find. Most of the major metropolitian cites aired Casey's Hot 20 or Casey's Countdown.
These were some the stations that did air CT40 up to the end in 1998. WVKS Toledo, Ohio WWCK Flint, MI WKHQ Petoskey, MI WYSS Sault Ste. Marie, MI

93-3 FLZ has aired CT40 (and the subsequent AT40) from 6am-10am Saturday since I moved to the Tampa Bay area in late 1994. Not sure when they began airing it, but it was probably around the time that Q-105 (where it had aired) switched from CHR to Country.

Surprisingly, it did... from what I can see they soared in the ratings after the switch (although they weren't able to unseat WQYK). They kept the country format for nine years until 2002, when they traded formats with oldies station 92.5.

They were just "Q-105" then, using their classic logo but colored red-white-and-blue. For a time during their country years they were known as "The Bee", but I don't know the exact dates. US-103.5 (current home of the Bucs) didn't come along until April 2005 (four months before 92.5 switched from country to Spanish). 103.5 was a classic rock station before they went country (Thunder 103.5). Lots of good info here: www.radioyears.comOh, and I found my notes that show WFLZ (The Power Pig) was welcomed as a new member of the CT40 family on 5/15/93, although they gave the call letters incorrectly as WPLZ. Their next station mention was on 7/03/93, correctly labeled as WFLZ.

When I lived in Ottawa, Ontario in 1997-8, I could listen to CT40 on CKKL or Kool FM 93 dot 9. They carried the show right through the flip-back to AT40 in March 1998.
