Shirley Jones sang backround vocals and was credited on Partridge Family records with her step-son David Cassidy and her son Shaun Cassidy hit the top 40 in the 70's including the #1 song "Da Doo Ron Ron" and Pat Boone and his daughter Debby with her song "You Light Up My Life". I believe that during the 10 week run of the Debby Boone song at #1,Casey mentioned that they were the 2nd parent/offspring tandem to have a #1 record when actually they were the 3rd,after the Sinatra's and Jones/Shaun Cassidy.
