1982 is certainly 'due' for a year-end show, being the one not played for the longest time.
1983: Played last year
1980: Played 2 years ago...
1986: Played as the B show 2 years ago
1981: Played 3 years ago...
1987: Played as the B show 2 years ago
1984: Played 4 years ago.
If we assume 1982 is the A show, 1983-1987 are the B choices:
For a B show, the YE show second-in-line overall for not being played is 1985 (in 2019).
The YE show not being played as an A show for the longest time is 1987 (2012, yet a B show in 2016 AND 2021)).
And, just to make the guessing interesting... remember that Ken Martin give us a 'surprise' Supersized version of the 1984 YE show last year, even though it wasn't scheduled...?
