Is it just me or is WTOJ's stream awful sounding today? It's like I'm listening to it on an old transistor radio with bad reception and half dead batteries. (I'm tuning in for the first time after listening to the 1987 show on KZOY.) Yes, we had some problem with our stream. There was a major power outage this week and I checked that the stream was back up but not on how it sounded. Sorry about that. It's fixed now.

Prediction for next show:
6/6/81
It's between this one and 6/9/84. Both shows last aired early in the 2010s decade but 1981 is more due for a spin having last been featured in March. Besides, 6/9/84 could still have a go the second week of June.

I still think that Sedaka duet is icky, being sung by a father and daughter. I listened to the lyrics and just kind of cringed. Not really sure what your reply has to do with my post about Pure Prairie League, but the 'gold standard' for 'icky'-sounding father-daughter duets was probably set back in '67 with Ol' Blue Eyes (Frank Sinatra) and daughter Nancy doing "Something Stupid". Personally, the one I always found particularly 'icky' was a #1 country hit (#69 pop) from 1977: Father-daughter duo The Kendalls' un-subtly titled "Heaven's Just a Sin Away". And see I've always thought "Something Stupid" wasn't nearly as bad as "Should Have Never Let You Go" for a couple of reasons: 1. "Should Have Never Let You Go" sounds a lot more suggestive and seductive to my ears then "Something Stupid". 2. Nancy Sinatra was a grown woman who had already been through one failed marriage while Dara Sedaka was 16. Plus I really like the sound on "Something Stupid"---one of the few duets where the pair are singing together in perfect harmony the whole time, although Frank's voice does seem to overpower Nancy's. And I have to disagree with mrjukebox on the Sedakas vocally. Neil is fine but there's a reason Dara never had another hit. Her accent totally grates.

Question is, is this the A or B show? KOLA picked 1987 over 1980 last weekend, and this could easily be the B to a 1981 A.
It does seem a bit soon for another 1988 standalone, as this would follow the last such by only four weeks, which came only four weeks after another 1988 show. If this is the main show then it would be the third from 1988 since we last got one from 1981 (or for that matter a 1987 A). It may also be the last 1988 A we get this year; after June the only possibilities are 7/23/88 (played by itself in 2012 and as a B in 2017) and 8/6 (last an A in 2018, making it unlikely but not impossible).

Just a hunch, but I'll guess that 6/4/88 is a 'B' show to 6/6/81. Four 1988's in the first half of the year is a lot, especially as you say, it would be the 3rd '88 show in the past eight weeks. 1981, '84, '85, and '87 all seem to be highly likely 'A' airings in June.
