KZOY just starting the 1988 show I just got an email from John at KZOY. He tried to get the "Bonus" show of 07/17/82 to play today but didn't get it set up in time so the "A" show is airing now. He has it set up now so the Mark Elliot tribute show will air tomorrow at 1pm Eastern.

^Is that currently the same as EST (sorry, the time zone thing confuses me). Yes, CDT=EST. Just like my local MST (we don't observe Daylight Saving Time) is the same observed time as PDT to our west.

Just saw that '80s 'music video queen' Tawny Kitean, ex-wife of Whitsnake singer David Coverdale, has died at the way-too-young age of 59. Sad to hear.

How does anybody live in Watertown? It's mid 40s right now. Holy bleep! The calendar reads May 8th, not Jan 8th. Only on the low 50s here in Detroit/Motown (home of WNIC.) I will be in Las Vegas week after next, so looking for good weather, LasVegasKid!!

Was listening to the Country Top 40 on an Illinois station, and I heard the dirty "s" word in their forecast over the weekend. Crazy stuff. Not entirely unheard of, though. Near the Twin Cities in 2013 on Mother's Day weekend, high temps struggled to get past the mid 40s. That's almost the average LOW temp that time of year!

I assume you mean 9am EST? If so, they're running regular programming at this point. ETA: Yep, even if you were talking about 9am CST (the time that Minnesota is on), they're still running regular programming. No, Minnesota is NOT currently on Central Standard Time (CST). They're on Central DAYLIGHT time (CDT), which is one hour ahead of CST. As a current Minnesota resident, I can confirm this is correct--we are on CDT. (and it sounds like it's warmer here than either Detroit or Watertown, NY)

For those who don't want to wait until next week to hear 5/17/1986, the Classic AT40 channel will be playing it in a few minutes

KGOR 99.9 going with 5/7/1988. But years after they began airing AT40: The Classics on Sunday mornings, they are STILL lopping off Hour #1. Since all of the shows that KGOR air are now from the 1980s (it wasn't that way in the beginning), there's absolutely no need for them to keep doing this. I just don't get it. Hey, KGOR, how about giving us ALL four hours? Rick in South Omaha
