It was forty years ago today (11/8) that Atlantic Records released "Led Zeppelin IV" which fans also call the "Zoso" album-This album perfectly captures the band at its peak-"Black Dog","Misty Mountain Hop","When The Levee Breaks","Rock & Roll" & "Stairway To Heaven" are true classics-This album always shows up on a list of the greatest albums ever made-Thank you Jimmy Page,John Paul Jones,Robert Plant & John Bonham for giving us this masterpiece!

It's funny to be reminded of something like this, given how much 1991 nostalgia is floating around at the moment. It really gives you an idea of how (revivalist) trends go in circles. On the other hand, this 40-year old album did become a big influence on the very same grunge and alt.rock that exploded in the mainstream precisely in that 1991. Which ends up being kind of ironic, really.
