Dr. Conrad Murray, Michael Jackson's doctor, was found guilty today of charges of involuntary manslaughter. He was sentenced to 4 years, plus may lose his doctor's license. He will begin his sentence on November 29. Story HERE. Seriously, he should have gotten life in prison. But then again, Michael Jackson was more in the wrong, IMO. MJ was the one with the addiction. MJ was to blame for his own death. Thoughts?

I'm not surprised by the verdict-Personally,I think Murray should've gotten a much stiffer sentence.

Guilty or not, Dr. Murray was pretty much against everything. On one side, he had a family out for something I'm not even sure what it really was. On the other, scores of orphaned fans for whom this trial seemed like some kind of compensation for having lost their idol. And finally the media, bloodthirsty because, hey, that's what sells.

I think it should have been longer. He knew better and as a Doctor it was his obligation to not be an enabler. True, MJ could have found someone else to enable his habit, but thats another thing altogether.
Besides, the "Dr." had something in the neighborhood of 25 cases of the stuff which is NOT for the use that he was using it for. Its a hospital drug for surgeries, not to help someone sleep.
Besides, he killed an icon with the drug AND not responding properly when he needed help. He's a murderer and I hope he's happy with himself...
