In case you're not aware, I am not only a die-hard fan of classic AT40, but also a die-hard fan of some 1980s game shows. Family Feud with Ray Combs is one of my favorites from that decade.
I remember recording a GSN broadcast of Ray Combs' Family Feud from 1989. It was a celebrity week, during the week of Valentine's Day, and Jean Kasem (Casey's wife) was one of the celebrities participating in that week. At the end of that episode, Casey Kasem made a cameo before GSN did their usual splitscreen thing.
I have the episode recorded from GSN back in 2009, and if anyone wants to view that segment, I will gladly upload it to YT in possibly the near future.

Before my local cable provider here in Connecticut dropped GSN,I did see that particular episode of "Family Feud"-Jean Kasem,Casey's spouse, was one of the female celebrities who were playing for their favorite charities-Does anyone remember the name of the sitcom that Jean starred in around that time?-I believe it was a spinoff from "Cheers".

I think you're referring to "The Tortellis", a "Cheers" spinoff which ran on NBC for a few months in 1987. Jean starred as Loretta Tortelli, who was married to Carla Tortelli's brother Nick; she also appeared on "Cheers" several times in that role.

Love old game shows too. Match Game is my favorite. Never knew Casey Kasem was on one, though I know he hosted one in the late 90s that didnt last very long.

Also, a bit-off topic, but Casey Kasem related, I believe there was a question on Ray Combs' Feud about a question people ask for (request) when calling in to a radio station and the contestant answers "What time is it?" Ray Combs jokingly remarked "Hello? Casey Kasem? What time is it?" I don't think I have that episode in my collection (it may have aired during the second season) but if I do, I would be glad to provide it for viewing.

Well, well, well... looks like someone uploaded the episode with Casey Kasem's cameo in its entirety! Jean Kasem heads the funny women team on the 1989 Valentine's Day episode, midway through a celebrity week. Casey appears right at the end. No end credits shown, as Game Show Network chose to cut them off in favor of a promo from 2009. Here is the episode: www.dailymotion.com/video/xrq0iu_casey-cameo_videogamesEnjoy!
