After reading Rob's book, I have always wondered how Casey may have thought about the end of American Top 40 with Shadoe in 1995. I don't think it would be in Casey's nature to jump and shout HURRAH on a Casey's Top 40 broadcast about this but in light of ABC Watermark's failure (or even willingness on the part of some officials for Casey to leave) to retain him in 1988, I wonder what Casey's opinions were concerning the failure of AT40 to remain on the air at that time and whether he expressed them to anyone else.
