I was listening to the American Top 40 show from September 16, 1978 in my car over the weekend, (one of the many shows in my collection) and noticed that 3 Beatle remakes were in the Top 40 that week since the Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band movie was out at the time. Here were the 3 Beatle remakes that were in the Top 40 that week:
Come Together--Aerosmith Oh! Darling--Robin Gibb Got To Get You Into My Life--Earth, Wind & Fire
There have been many remakes of Beatle songs that have hit the Top 40 over the year. Let me see how many that I can name. Beside the 3 songs that I have just mentioned there were:
I Saw Her Standing There (retitled, I Saw Him Standing There) Tiffany. Yesterday--Ray Charles We Can Work It Out--Stevie Wonder Eleanor Rigby--Ray Charles and Aretha Franklin. They actually had separate hits of that remake. Magical Mystery Tour--Ambrosia Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds--Elton John (The only Beatle remake to hit No. 1) Here Comes The Sun--Richie Havens Fool On the Hill--Sergio Mendes Michelle--David & Johnathan You Won't See Me--Anne Murray
If anybody knows anymore Beatles remakes that made the Top 40, let me know.

Lucy In The Sky With Diamonds--Elton John (The only Beatle remake to hit No. 1) If anybody knows anymore Beatles remakes that made the Top 40, let me know. If it counts, the Stars on 45 medley which hit #1 in 1981 was mostly Beatles songs.

Salt and Pepa Twist and shout (thou The Beatles did a cover first, because the song belongs to Phil Medley and Bert Russell and covered first by others).
Tina Turner Help ( but I think it was not a single).
