The next possible show that never aired is 5/24/1975. Hearing Casey thanking Glenn Morgan for sitting in for him brought back great memories of Morgan on WXLO mid mornings.

Hmmm...I thought that we'd be getting 1971 and 1978 soon as they're both about due, but not at the same time. We probably won't get another 1978 standalone until at least the second half of May, given the "too close together" factor and the fact that a mid-May 1978 show was guest hosted. 5/27/78 hasn't been aired since 2011 and would be a good choice then.

Well, for 4/22/1978 you'll hear "Night Fever" at #1 anyway. And when was 4/17/1971 last played on AT40: The 70's? Hope 4/17/1971 uses for an OPTIONAL EXTRA "Ain't No Sunshine" by the late Bill Withers as a tribute since Mr. Withers passed away recently. Also: Is Bill Withers' "Lovely Day" on the 4/22/1978 AT40 chart? |

99X (WXLO) in NYC was the "AT40" affiliate in 1979-They used to air "AT40" twice on Sundays.

In 2011 it was aired by itself. 4/22/78 was aired in 2015 and 2018 as a standalone; two years is likely too soon for it to get another A play, but it works as a B. |

I don't know where these ideas are coming from, banning certain song titles during a pandemic. It's preposterous. There are fevers that are good, if you think about it. Mine happens to be baseball, and I'm missing it terribly. But I'm just glad certain decisions don't rest with certain individuals.
I'm ready for this pandemic to be over. Until then, everyone, please stay safe and healthy.
